When you think of cute and charming, a drone most likely isn’t the first thing to come to mind. But, Sam Houston State University proved drones are unexpectedly endearing through a recruitment video.
Sam Houston State University in Spring, Texas created a video starring a drone that takes on the persona of a student. The drone has a quirky sense of humor that isn’t necessarily appreciated by his current university or parents. After incurring the wrath of fellow students at B.A.D University for being chronically late, D.J. withdraws and dejectedly looks elsewhere for a new college home. D.J eventually finds his way to the Sam Houston State College of Arts and Media and finds he’s a perfect fit.
By using a drone as the main character, Sam Houston State was able to incorporate stunning aerial shots of its campus and student projects. The video’s quirky subject is lighthearted but certainly memorable.
